Shelby Bottoms Taffet is a private equity executive and board advisor. She joined Mantucket Capital in 2014, serving first as Associate (2014-2017) and then Senior Associate (2017- 2020). She has been Vice President at Mantucket Capital since 2020. Prior to joining Mantucket, Shelby was an investment banker with Deutsche Bank’s Global Natural Resources Group. With a special interest in helping uplift women and girls, Shelby believes that women’s economic empowerment is central to realizing women’s rights and the most effective means to drive progress on gender equality, poverty eradication, and inclusive economic growth. She holds a B.A. Degree from Rice University with a triple Major in Economics, Managerial Studies and Sports Management and Minor in Business.
