She has worked on SEC registrants and non-public clients, including the 404 implementation efforts for global banks, a major health insurance client as well as a private equity firm. In addition, Daniela worked on regulatory driven client engagements from 2013 through March 2015 in Hong Kong, focusing on Compliance, Governance, Operational Risk and Technology issues impacting the banking industry.

Through her client work, she has gained significant experiences and knowledge of the IT systems that  support  her clients'  businesses.  She is a Certified Public  Accountant (AICPA)  and holds ISACA certification as a “Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)”. Daniela is pleased to serve Women First and help bring about lasting change for girls and women who may not have the opportunity or freedom to dare to believe and choose their path like she did as a young girl growing up in Jamaica.

She thinks strategically, especially around the areas of audit and risk, and will bring these skills to her Women First BOD and Audit Committee service. Through her contributions, Daniela aims to help Women First broaden and deepen the impact of its work.
